Details icon

• Location: Top left file menu.
• What it does: Opens the file details.
• How to use it: Click the icon, edit details, click OK, and save. Make sure the business tier is running.

Search in Design icon

• Location: Top left file menu (second from left).
• What it does: Allows you to search for nodes and attributes using their values.
• How to use it: Click the icon, enter the Node Name, Attribute Name, select the operator, and provide the value. Click Search.
• Other notes: You may also add a permanent filter using the Add Filter button.

Save icon

• Location: Top left file menu (third from left).
• What it does: Saves the selected open file.
• How to use it: Click the icon.
• Other notes: Files with unsaved changes have an asterisk next to the file title in the top right corner. Saving removes the asterisk.

Undo icon

• Location: Top left file menu (fourth from left).
• What it does: Undoes changes.
• How to use it: Click the icon.
• Other notes: Undoes the most recent change. Undoes more than one change.

Redo icon

• Location: Top left file menu (fifth from left).
• What it does: Redoes the undone change.
• How to use it: Click the icon.

Entity link

• Location: Top right file menu (first from left).
• What it does: Opens the entity.
• How to use it: Click the link.

View icon

• Location: Top right file menu (second from left).
• What it does: Opens Developer View and Analyst View.
• How to use it: Click the icon and select the view.

Run Results icon

• Location: Top right file menu (third from left).
• What it does: Provides additional criteria to refine search for a particular rule.
• How to use it: Click the icon, enter the Execution ID, User Name, Execution Date, Primary Key, Error Status, To Date, and Business Object Field. Click Search.

Rule Errors icon

• Location: Top right file menu (fourth from left).
• What it does: Provides a filter to search for errors from a particular date to a particular date, for a rule.
• How to use it: Click the icon and enter the Error From Date and Error To Date. Click Search.

Build Rule icon

• Location: Top right file menu (fifth from left).
• What it does: Opens the options available to build the rule.
• How to use it: Click the icon and select the desired build type.

Rule in Expression icon

• Location: Top right file menu (sixth from left).
• What it does: Opens the code for a particular rule.
• How to use it: Click the icon.

Scenarios icon

• Location: Top right file menu (seventh from left).
• What it does: Opens the Navigate to Scenario and Add Excel Scenario tab.
• How to use it: Click the icon and select from the options.

Fix All Nodes IDs icon

• Location: Top right file menu (eighth from left).
• What it does: Fixes all the nodes.
• How to use it: Click the icon.

View Source icon

• Location: Top right file menu (ninth from left).
• What it does: Displays source view.
• How to use it: Click the icon.

Pin File icon

• Location: Top right file menu (tenth from left).
• What it does: Allows you to pin files to the dashboard.
• How to use it: Click the icon.

Close File icon

• Location: Top right file menu (eleventh from left).
• What it does: Closes the file.
• How to use it: Click the icon.
• Other notes: Save before you close.

Move Left icon

• Location: Default title bar.
• What it does: Moves selected panel left.
• How to use it: Click the icon.

Move Right icon

• Location: Default title bar.
• What it does: Moves selected panel right.
• How to use it: Click the icon.

Add New Version icon

• Location: Default title bar.
• What it does: Allows you to add a new version.
• How to use it: Click the icon, enter the required fields, and click OK.

Description icon

• Location: Description title bar.
• What it does: Allows you to add version details.
• How to use it: Click the icon, enter the required fields, and click OK.

Refresh Child Rules icon

• Location: Description title bar.
• What it does: Reloads the file and updates the child rule list.
• How to use it: Click the icon.

Variables icon

• Location: Description title bar.
• What it does: Allows you to view/edit the variable details.
• How to use it: Click the icon. To edit, click the Edit icon and enter the details.

Add Variables icon

• Location: Description title bar.
• What it does: Allows you to add variables.
• How to use it: Click the icon and enter the required fields.
