Xelence forms use controls to enable users to view, enter, and update data; perform operations on data; and navigate within the app. One way to place a control on a form is to select it from the toolbox of available controls and drag it to the desired location on the form. Once placed, such a control usually requires further configuration to map it to the data it uses, enable it to navigate to elsewhere in the app, etc.
The Toolbox is divided into sections, each of which contains certain controls (some controls are in multiple sections). To locate the desired control, you can open the section you want to select it from; or you can use the Search icon to enter the text of the control's name (such as "radio" to find the Radio Button control). Additionally, some controls are only available on certain form types (such as the File Upload control only being available on maintenance and wizard forms).
