Introduction

This process allows an individual item to have relationships with one or multiple other individual items. For example, a customer may have many orders, which is a one to many relationship.

Prerequisites

You must have an existing entity and another entity that is unmapped.

Quick Steps
1 Search for and open the entity
2 Open the Attributes section
3 Open the One to Many section, then add a new relationship
4 Enter the details, then click OK
5 Save the entity

Detailed Steps

Step 1. Search for and open the entity.

Step 2. Open the Attributes section.

Step 3. Open the One to Many section, then add a new relationship.

This is where the entity manages its one to many relationships. Click the + icon to add a relationship.

Step 4. Enter the details, then click OK.

Important properties are:

  • Entity Name: The entity you are configuring has the one to many relationship with.
  • ID: Programmatic ID of the relationship.

  • Access Modifier: Determines the entity that can access this relationship.
Access Modifier options are:

Public: Any entity can access this relationship.
Private: Only this entity can access this relationship.
Protected: Only this entity and any child entity can access this relationship.
The one to many relationship is successfully added.

Step 5. Save the entity.
